Where we started
Toby and I have been together for a little over 19 years. We met as teenagers when he was a homeless graffiti artist and I was a college student in Ashland, OR.
I took this picture 📷 (below) of Toby and printed it in a darkroom, way back when... we have grown and changed but some things have stayed the same: Toby has always used his artistic ability to work for himself and others: painting, designing, sculpting, etc. I have started and organized my own and others businesses using my creativity and admin skills.
We finally ended up buying and then making Tattoo 34, together. Working collaboratively for the first time and finding out how great that is (for the most part ha ha) to spend our collective time and energy on “work” that we love.
We have hope that we will get our shop back to where it was, supporting 10 people financially and giving back to our community.
